Has done research on the inventory of medicinal plants, nutritious contraceptive Forest National Park in Bukit Barisan Selatan Lampung Barat, Lampung province.Goal of this research is to obtain information about the diversity of medicinal plants, nutritious contraception, techniques and how to use plants that nutritious contraception and efforts to protect habitat and minimize environmental damage with plant cultivation planning nutritious contraception. This research was conducted at the Forest National Park Bukit Barisan Selatan Lampung Barat, Lampung province. West Lampung region in general have the potential of biological diversity of natural resources to be developed in the framework of sustainable regional development. This research was conducted within 6 months (May-October 2006).

Source of research information obtained from the villages in the district were selected, in this case the 4 selected districts. The four districts is regional HTN Bukit Barisan Selatan is located in West Lampung. In this case, each district will be represented by 2 village, so that for 1 akan district were interviewed about 10 people and left several people as the sample that meet the requirements. Survey conducted with the interview technique, using 3 types of questionnaires standard set by the Ministry of Health team SP3T namely; 1. Questionnaire for traditional medicine; 2, questionnaire for the type of herb / medicinal plants used and 3, the questionnaire for patients traditional medicine users. For sampling plant medicines that have not been known as medicinal plants, taken in their entirety, to include in a plastic bag, labeled, and collected. For plants that are difficult to take (trees, roots, water plants, etc.) recorded, produced herbarium, and identified. The data obtained are analyzed based on descriptive and relevant references.

In this method of research using reference Agoes (2002). Results of research indicate that there are 7 types of medicine that nutritious plants, especially digukanan on contraception among women. Use is known to shrink uterus / womb, uterus shed / abortion, and reduce fertility. How the use of or generally with a drink processing plants, and how nutritious contraceptive medication adjusted according to each type of plant.
